About the Author
Show me Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths.
Psalm 25:4 NKJV
The path I wanted to travel the most always led to writing. There were lessons along the way, however, that I needed to learn before I began the journey.
Riding my horse along a prairie trail has always been a delight, whether it was on my parents place or on the Wheeler ranch. I invented stories as the horse clopped along, day-dreamed about earlier settlers, and probably missed a critter or two that I was supposed to be bringing in.
Time flies – our children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren attest to that. I’ve given away my chinks, my horse carries a younger rider, and my saddle gathers dust. And now, to my great joy, I get to travel that desired path of writing.
A big thank-you to my rancher husband who helps me keep details correct and is actually quite patient when I’m lost in a fiction world. Also to my supportive children and grand-children; to my encouraging friends; and to all readers who take time to read and enjoy books!
